Multi-Agency Security: Jail, Courthouse, PSAP, High School

dinwiddie

Dinwiddie County, VA needed to upgrade its surveillance capabilities for the county’s high school, courthouse, jail, and PSAP facility. TrueSystems worked with the county to install an integrated security system that is customized to meet the unique needs of the four separate facilities, within the county’s desired budget.

TrueSentry surveillance network consisting of more than 185 cameras, within its budget, through a three-phase installation process. Both the courthouse and high school cameras are fed directly into the county’s Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). For privacy and regulatory reasons, the jail’s surveillance feed goes into a control room on-site.  TrueSentry is the only digital surveillance system that is built on an open and scalable architecture, making communication between it and systems from other vendors seamless.  Each building now has a surveillance system that makes the facility more secure, increases law enforcement visibility, and saves the county money.
